This isn’t a documentary; Made in Dagenham tells the story of a strike that beat Ford back in the sixties. It brought about equal pay for women (has that arrived yet?) and changed UK legislation. While it’s a good film, the lead star didn’t even exist in real life, so what can you believe?

This lame, not really funny movie, Just Go With It, is really suited to stay where it was, as a stage play. It’s a shame that talent as good as Jennifer Aniston and Adam Sandler (who are both good in this film) have to devote time to projects as average as this one.

This remake of the seventies original of I Spit on Your Grave is a well produced and finely scripted movie. The attacked woman is less ‘out in the open’ for all to see and her revenge is not as outright bloody as many a horror film would indulge.

The Adjustment Bureau (2011 movie)

I so wanted this to be a great movie; the premise, while not new, gives The Adjustment Bureau a fresh appeal among the films at screens recently. Unfortunately, it took too long to tell the audience what is was all about and the twist so lame as to be embarrassing to get the movie to the nice ending it didn't need.
