You know you're in Hollywood territory when you're guessing the twist to this movie from the very first minute. Unfortunately, I guessed correctly, as did the majority of the audience. What's important is that in speculating the twist, it didn't destroy the enjoyment of the movie. The second twist wasn’t so obvious, but when you know the first twist, they do match.

It's difficult to get excited about a movie expected to provide fast high class-action, but fails miserably in delivering soft, feeble action sequences. The saving grace is provided by the extremely talented actress; Ellen Page.

If you agree with their choices you say they got it right, but if you disagree of course they’re wrong because the whole point about choosing winners and losers is about individual choice. If you need to know what a logline is, you’re right at the start of screenplay writing. 3 stars*** The film adaptation from the 1985 BBC series is a sure winner, especially if you haven’t seen the original series and you don’t mind a few plot holes. What’s it about: As homicide detective Thomas Craven investigates the death of his activist daughter, he uncovers not only her secret life, but a corporate cover-up and government [...]
