I am a Trinidadian and I saw this movie for the film festival 2011. It was the best Caribbean movie I've seen lately. Unfortunately I was unable to purchase a copy when it was made available. I wondered how long it took to complete the movie because of its quality and output. It was well put together and well executed. I enjoyed it. Compliments to all the actors who took their roles seriously which made it realistic, as well as all others that worked behind the scenes. It shows that the Caribbean can do just as well as the U.S. in filmmaking. I am yet to see HUSH 1 and if there's going to be a HUSH 3, I'll be looking foward to that too.

I thought the movie was fascinating. Brought out vast emotions of sorrow, pain, and anger. You are correct on the continuing questions you develop while watching the movie, especially at the end when the source is revealed. I understand her stand on principals, but it wasn't as if the source came to her with information, it was an innocent convesation which revealed something happening in this little girls home. When the souce was revealed all I could think was this woman sacrificed her marriage and the loss of her son. Can't say it was worth it. For one thing as much as the prosecutor was a big jerk, I don't think he would have been as big a jerk in going after a 6 year old, nor would he have revealed in the news it was a 6 year old who leaked the information, and as a reporter it made me think she must think in a two dimensional tunnel. She treated her source as one who met her in a clandestine meeting to review horrible secrets, and as we know it wasn't...it just seemed the principal didn't fit here. However, it was an excellent film

As much as I hate Morris the character, the actor is truly great. I really hope there is enough open ended-ness for a Hush 4. Clearly, the demand is there!
