We all know what’s going on in Haiti at the moment. Tens of thosuands have died. People are trapped, people are dying. People are lacking food and water, let alone being homeless.
You can help.
Barbadian Rihanna’s cover of the 1980 Bob Marley song is available to download from iTunes now, with all 100% of proceeds going to the Haiti Relief Fund.
It looks like it’s iTunes USA only at the moment and not the UK version. iTunes needs to sort that quickly.
Here’s Rihanna singing the song live yesterday on the Oprah show:
One thing, couldn’t Oprah pronouce Rihanna’s name properly? Rihanna, girl, let people know how to pronouce your name.

Nice version. It is great to see people pulling together to help strangers, normally all we see on the news and all we hear about is the opposite.

Yes, agreed. However, they could have doubled the money if it had been released outside of the US as well. If it was a normal (not just iTunes) MP3 it would have sold better, but to deny mnajor markets like the UK and Canada was plain stupid, by iTunes.

I am not sure what the uproar is in relation to Rihanna browsing a sex shop. It is lawful, it is a free country and she is allowed to do what she wants to.

Yes, I’m with you on that one. She’s a normal, healthy 21 year old, living in an abnormal world of the pop star. Isn’t it odd though, how the press just happened to be there, or I am being too cynical.

I am sorry but I don’t like Rihanna’s crimson hair and cone shaped bra. She doesn’t need to be a Madonna copy.
