Options and detail

Here’s the different types of coverage and service I supply.

General coverage US$200

General coverage includes a grade sheet (industry standard) that assesses the key fundamentals of your screenplay on a grade scale of Excellent, Good, Fair or Poor. Then one to two pages that follow including notes about why I would choose to score a pass or would recommend your screenplay. Two to three extra pages are broken down into notes and suggestions concerning story and plot, structure, characters, action, dialogue and writing.

There will be an end result for the material on a “pass,” “consider,” or “recommend” basis.

If your script receives a recommend grade, the notes will center on how to squeeze the script and aim for victory.

Extended coverage US$340

Extended Coverage offers all of the parts of General Coverage, plus three to four pages of suggestions on how to progress the script to achieve the required grade.

Treatment US$130

Treatments are written to plan the story, its characters, setting, structure and plots in a current tense manuscript. I offer coverage on your treatment from a writer’s standpoint, helping you to locate and answer problems with the story before you start the scriptwriting process. You can save time and later problems by getting your treatment right before you even start the script.

Synopsis US$130

You may well get asked to provide a synopsis of your screenplay before you can even part with the script itself. I’ll help analyze your synopsis. This may be all a movie studio executive reads. A studio reader may write a synopsis of your screenplay before it gets to the studio executive. Help them! This may form part of the movie’s easy read marketing package. The DVD packaging words to grip the reader’s attention..

I’ll review your synopsis and offer suggestions to make it tighter, accurate and sizzle.
