The idea of repossessing major organs when loans can’t be paid, is great, but the actual way this movie pans out ends up flying with disappointment. Many of us have been through the great ‘dream’ of Dallas or others and feel cheated when all we’ve watched is a dream.

4 stars**** This was a remake of a 1987 film of the same name. I often wonder why filmmakers want to make a film we’ve all seen before. On nearly every occasion it’s the original film that stands out as the best, with very few exceptions. Fortunately, I haven’t seen the original of this movie [...]

1 Star* Some movies are better than their trailer. The trailer for this movie was quite good, but alas, the movie went downhill from the moment it started. The movie lacked excitement despite the money spent on pyrotechnics. Even when there was supposed to be a rush of blood the exhilaration levels never peaked above [...]

Arthur Conan Doyle wrote four books and almost 60 short stories around his character, Sherlock Holmes. Lionel Wigram [...]

One star* I didn’t know if I could be bothered to post a review of this movie. I went to see it with high expectations. The premise and the trailer looked good. I didn’t realize that other reviewers had said it was such a poor movie and even if I had read some reviews first, [...]

I’ve been sent a copy of the movie screenplay. I now have to check and see if it’s legal to post it here. If it is, I will. If it isn’t, I won’t, but I might be able to let you know where it is available, unless, of course, I can’t. The law is the [...]

Here’s two choices: first; look up any of the top thirty films out at the moment and analyze them. You’ll find that they almost all meet the Blake Synder method of screenplay writing. Second choice: if you’re new to the industry and are thinking about writing your first, second or third screenplay, you’ll almost certainly [...]

5 stars***** This isn’t a movie for the faint hearted and those who are troubled by swearing and cursing in almost every other sentence. This is a movie for those who want full-out belly laughs all the way through. I first saw this movie on a long flight. I watched it again on the way [...]
