ARRI Alexa Mini Slow Mo Footage 200fps & 60fps

Real Life FRUIT NINJA? This week we take a look at ARRI Alexa Mini slow motion footage from 60 fps to 200 fps. Watch our fruit Ninjas chop through pumpkins with Samurai swords in ARRI Alexa Mini 60 fps and 200 fps slow mo!

Previously, we’ve looked at the Phantom Flex’s slow motion footage, which can go from 1000 fps to 2000 fps. Now the ARRI Alexa Mini can only go to 200 frames per second, but it has the advantage of being a more well-rounded cinema camera…and it still looks pretty amazing in 200 fps. It’s not a specialized high speed camera, but for many productions 200 fps or even 60 fps on the Alexa Mini might be enough.

The ARRI line of cameras are top picks by many cinematographers for their organic look and smooth slow motion footage. A lot of independent filmmakers are choosing the ARRI Alexa Mini because of its small size. Our test shows hopefully gives you an insight to the slow motion high speed footage from this camera in a variety of environments and tests.

The Alexa Mini shoots up to 60 fps in 4k and 200 fps in 2k…not too shabby! Especially when you consider the Alexa color science and everything else the ARRI Alexa Mini offers.
