Hey Everyone, Awards Season is over, but the biggest trends on the red carpet will still send ripples through Spring 2015. Today, we want to show you what looks are here to stay, and how to incorporate them into your wardrobe. There were a lot of beauties on the red carpet this awards season, and we found three trends that can translate to your spring wardrobe. Let’s first talk about color, or the lack of it. White and Nude swept the red carpet, with celebrities such as Viola Davis, Oprah, Jennifer Anniston and Kerry Washington showing off these soft shades.

Of course you won’t be wearing ball gowns everyday this spring, but a simple crocheted dress or mesh shirt from Forever 21 can mimic that elegant style. Make sure to check out H&M, too, which just released their New Neutrals campaign. It’s a great collection that will give you a fresh look for spring.

Just as we mentioned at the start of awards season plunging necklines and high slits had celebrities showing off a lot of skin. Chrissy Tiegen and Emma Stone continued the trend at the Oscars. Oh, and don’t forget J.Lo, who started this look back at the Golden Globes.
These plunging necklines from Urban Outfitters will turn heads this spring. For a high slit, without breaking the bank, look for lightweight maxi-dresses and skirts, a fun way to show off some leg while still feeling casual and fun.

The last trend that’s guaranteed to show up this spring is big patterns and shiny textures. Keira Knightley, Naomi Watts, Chloe Moretz, and Laura Dern all showed us how this trend is here to stay. If you’re looking for bold patterns, look no further than Zara’s Spring collection. Whether it’s a dress, jumpsuit, or shirt, you’ll make flowers bloom this spring. For those shiny metallics, keep your eye on Revolve and Guess, to give you that star appeal.

So there you have it, three trends from this awards season that will definitely help inspire Spring 2015. So don’t forget, nudes and neutrals for an elegant style, big patterns if you want to make a bold statement, and don’t be afraid to show off a little skin.
