Canon EOS 200D Rebel SL2 Kiss X9 Cinematic Video Test (Shot it in Brisbane, Queensland)
This is the Canon 200D video test. When you first look at the specs, you wouldn’t want to buy this 200D for video. It doesn’t have 4K, high bitrate or super slowmo. But there are some pretty cool features that makes you wanna take a second look of this little camera. First of all, Canon EOS 200D is the world’s smallest DSLR in the market. It has a 24 Megapixel APS-C Sensor with Dual Pixel AF. And this is the reason why I picked this camera. Because I personally do a lot of holiday videos. Especially V-Logging. So having a flip screen with full auto focus is awesome. And the other reason why I chose this camera because of the Canon straight out colour. I did not have to spend a lot of time in post for that. (This video did grade in post)
Over all, the video is decent. Its not as sharp as 4K for sure. But its not too bad at all for home video. And the low light performance is not great. But it wasn’t so bad. And after I have installed the EOSHD C-Log color. It improved the dynamic range quite a bit as well.
