DJI MAVIC Pro Drone Filming Techniques Part 2 – How to do a Drone Dolly Shot or Slider Shot. ( How to make a dolly shot with a drone or how to make a slider shot. )
I plan to go through at least 8 different dji drone filming techniques or drone cinematic techniques so please subscribe and check the notify box if you want to see more.
Also in this video I try out the Mavic Pro’s D-Cinelike color setting, with a ND16 filter and a custom style of 0,-1,-1 for sharpness, contrast, saturation. Seems to work as good as D-Log for later color grading.
The Dolly or Slider Shot
Is generally used to follow along with moving subjects or, as in this case, it can be used to give an a feeling depth to the scene since objects in the foreground move by more quickly than objects in the background. This type of drone filming technique can be used as and opening clip to a video or to show the viewer the surrounding area where the action is about to take place.
Drone dolly shots can be much longer and cover a larger area than traditional ground based dollies. This makes for great pull-back shots on buildings or monuments.
