Episode #7 – Basic Editing Techniques for Underwater Footage

So I finally got around to doing an editing tutorial, this is the very basics of how I edit my underwater videos to get the results that you all see. This tutorial should set you up on how to start editing your own underwater movies and get some good results. This won’t cover everything so if you want to learn more please leave a comment and I will get round to making another in the coming months with everyones requests in it. Stay tuned as the next tutorial will be editing underwater images in photoshop/lightroom but for now I hope you enjoy this and it helps your in some way get more out of your underwater footage.

The footage was provided by Shane who runs a dive business over in Brisbane, these are the exploits of his recent trip to Fiji, going shark diving with tiger and bull sharks. Pretty amazing footage and I hope he enjoys what I have done with it lol. Check him out at

For all your diving needs around Brisbane, GoldCoast, Mooloolaba and obviously he loves trips to Fiji to lol
