Along with the theory session about various aspects of film making,there will also be a hands-on session where the team will come up with an idea for a film, shoot it and edit it during the course of the workshop,so as to get an overall understanding of how a film gets made.
A very good platform for aspiring actors and film makers to learn the basics of all the aspects of film making and also to meet like minded folks.Selected folks from the workshop will get to be a part of the future projects of Goldenagefilmhouse.

It’s going to be a 2-day workshop and the schedule split is as follows.
First half – The theory portion of all the basic aspects of film-making (Screenplay writing|Story boarding|Casting|Acting|Direction|Cinematography) will be covered except editing,dubbing and sound design
Second half- We will come up with an idea and shoot the short film
First half: The editing, dubbing and sound design theory followed by editing of the movie we shot the previous day.
Second half: Film Marketing techniques, Cinematography exercises, interactive Q&A session followed by certificate distribution.

About the instructor:
Vihaan is a national level award winning actor/writer/director and editor who has worked in around 60 short films/ad films and around 4 Kannada feature films till now.
His short film ‘Navilugari’ has won at the Bangalore international short film festival and Goa short film carnival.
His Ad ‘RajmaUpma’ won the national level ad film competition ‘CrashthePepsiIPL’
He runs a film making company called Goldenagefilmhouse.
He has been conducting film making workshops across Bangalore for the last two and a half years, 40+ workshops successfully completed, 40+ short films made, around 400+ people trained.
Has worked as an associate director for a Kannada feature film and currently working on his debut directorial venture in Kannada
He is an engineer turned film maker and hence follows an engineering approach in making and teaching films.
