About the workshop- The courses offered here at APU, offer and expect an intense engagement with the field and research. Along with the knowledge of research concept, data collection method, another crucial factor of this research process is presenting the collected, analysed information. Films and audio-visual representations being a common and popular tool in today’s pedagogy hence may offer a very significant purpose as a medium which would enable us to present our findings in, creative and lucid way. This workshop aims at offering an entry point into the process of making an audio-visual documentation by familiarizing participants with various stages involved before, during and after its making, by using the simple and easily accessible device such as Smartphone.
About the Resource Person- M D Prasad is a Program manager at APU and has been associated with Azim Premji Foundation since last 15 years. He has work experience of 23 years in multimedia technologies. He has been associated with Telugu Film Industry as a part of pre and post production unit. He worked with Technology for Education Team, where he had a key role in developing digital multimedia content, coordinating translation work. Here at Azim Premji University, He is handling the making of the Documentary Films, capturing both still and videos of events at the University.
