Movies That Should Have Won An Oscar | The Green Mile | SceneScreen

The Oscars 2020 are soon and to celebrate it, we wanted to pay tribute to one of the greatest Oscar-nominated performances that was the great forgotten by the Academy Awards.

Nominated for Best Picture; Best Supporting Actor; Best Sound and Best Adapted Screenplay, surprisingly, The Green Mile didn’t win a single Academy Award.

What are your thoughts about The Green Mile? Do you think that it should have won at least one Academy Award?

The Green Mile (2013) SYNOPSIS: Paul Edgecomb (Tom Hanks) walked the mile with a variety of cons. He had never encountered someone like John Coffey (Michael Clarke Duncan), a massive black man convicted of brutally killing a pair of young sisters. Coffey had the size and strength to kill anyone, but not the demeanor. Beyond his simple, naive nature and a deathly fear of the dark, Coffey seemed to possess a prodigious, supernatural gift. Paul began to question whether Coffey was truly guilty of murdering the two girls.
