Proudest Day of My Life || 2019 Filmmaking Rewind

2019 was full of a lot of ups and downs, highs and lows. It was a year of trial and tribulations.

Despite the challenges, I’m super grateful for 2019. There were so many highlights and turning points for myself.

By far, the proudest moment enrolled in this media training program; specializing in filmmaking, photography and cinematography.

During my 10 month period there, I busted my ass and hyperfocused on, learning, networking and simply busted my ass. This allowed me to break into the
The advertising industry, working in an elite post-production agency specialized in colouring and VFX in commercials and long formats.

I share this behind the scenes footage from graduation taking you on the journey and showing you what it’s really like graduating, screening a documentary and short film I worked on, networking, and meeting the movers and shakers in the industry. Some id the valedictorian speech as well.

As 2019 is coming to an end, I’m really proud that I got to experiment, with cinematography, telling stories, shooting a lot of content and honing my skills around filmmaking. Although I got a long way to go, I’m grateful that I shot a lot of things and documented everything about 2019.
You can see that in the intro retro footage.

Last, I’m really proud of the song in the intro. The reason being, I’ve been working so hard on music and spoken word poetry over the years. Finally seeing my work blended together (video & music) is very fulfilling and humbling. I finally feel like ” I did it”! The visions are coming to life, what I wanted to achieve is unfolding.
I’m proud and grateful.
