Audio is very important in filmmaking and some would say even more important in a documentary. However each production is different and has different needs. In this video Lars Lindstrom goes over the reason why we decided on using the audio setup we chose for filming Llama Nation.
The audio that we ended up using was the Rode NTG2 and Sennheiser G3 lavalier mic. We chose to record directly into the Canon C100 because we are so run and gun when shooting this.
